Students are welcome to join CAST. at any point throughout the term or academic year.
Whilst we may be focusing on a specific demonstration, examination or show,
fundamental skills of singing, dancing and acting will be taught throughout.

3-6 YEAR OLDS
Our Minis classes will involve the core skills of singing, dancing and acting. Minis performed in CAST. productions of:
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Playhouse, Whitley Bay in November 2021
Nativity! The Musical at the Playhouse, Whitley Bay in November 2022
The Wizard of Oz at the Playhouse, Whitley Bay in November 2023
CAST. High Five at the Alnwick Playhouse in October/November 2024
A Shrek The Musical inspired Pre-Show at the Playhouse, Whitley Bay in November 2025
CAST. students, including Minis have also performed on a Disney stage at Disneyland Paris in 2022 and 2024 and we are heading back to Disneyland Paris in 2026.
CAST. Minis may also take additional Dance / Acro lessons on weekdays, as detailed in the CAST. timetable.
One-to-one tuition is also available, towards LAMDA acting qualifications. (See below.)
COST: CAST. Minis classes of 75 minutes duration are calculated on the hourly rate of just £7.50, so averages to around £9.38 per class. On acceptance of a place on the course, fees are chargeable to the end of the term. No refund / credit for missed classes is made where a space has been reserved for the student.
There is a one-off production fee of £25.00 per Minis student, payable in Term 3, to contribute to costuming and other production costs of the annual Minis show.
Where a child is taking a CAST. Minis class, additional group classes they take (Dance, Acro, etc.,) will be discounted to £7.00 per hour.

COST: CAST. Seniors classes of 120 minutes duration are calculated on the hourly rate of just £7.50, so averages £15.00 per class. On acceptance of a place on the course, fees are chargeable to the end of the term. No refund / credit for missed classes is made where a space has been reserved for the student .
There is a £75.00 production fee per Seniors Student (payable at £25 per term), to contribute to costuming and other production costs of the annual show.
Where a student is taking a CAST. Seniors class, additional group classes they take (Dance, Acro, etc.,) will be discounted to £7.00 per hour.
LAMDA ACTING 1-2-1’S
Blocks of 12 week 1-2-1 acting coaching with one of our CAST. coaches, culminating in an examination with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). These exams are designed to develop the skills necessary to communicate dramatic text to an audience.
Learners who prepare themselves appropriately will develop:
1 Interpretative skills
2 Technical skills
3 Knowledge of the performance process
COST: £216 for a 12 week block of private coaching (Equivalent to £18 for 30 mins per week). There will be an additional cost for the exam entry fee depending upon level and grade of exam and LAMDA’s fees, prevailing at that time.
CAST. Students have gained outstanding success at all levels in LAMDA examinations each year from 2020 - 2025. CAST. is a LAMDA registered examination centre and we host examinations on a regular basis.
Please note, whilst we will do everything we can to ensure you/your child is prepared and ready for examination within a 12 week block of coaching, entry into the exam is at the discretion of the coaching team. Those children who have reached the required standard will be entered following a 12 week block of coaching.
DANCE
& More
We offer tuition in Tap, Ballet, Modern & Commercial. The age groups for dance classes differ from our core classes and students are allocated a class according to their ability / current grade. Further tuition in ACRO, STRETCH and CONDITIONING are also available to augment the dance disciplines.
Classes are charged at a rate of £7.50 per hour, which would be discounted to just £7.00 per hour for a student who takes CAST. Minis, CAST. Juniors or CAST. seniors classes.
Please note, children who wish to represent CAST. at competitions are strongly encouraged to train in most, if not all, of the above disciplines.
ADULT
CAST. offers evening adult dance classes in Strictly Dance Fitness, Ballet Fitness and Tap Dancing.
